Specter’s Flask routes, templates, wallet and device logic run locally. The upstream Spectrum extension connects to supported Electrum servers through a TLS relay. Wallet files stay in this browser; the selected server and relay receive the public blockchain queries. OS processes, Tor, Bitcoin Core TCP access and physical USB are unavailable.
